Royal Air Maroc has made history, becoming the first non-European airline to partner with the Association of European Airlines (AEA).

The new Strategic Partnership was unveiled today by Royal Air Maroc Deputy Chief Executive Abderrafie Zouitene and AEA Secretary General Ulrich Schulte-Strathaus at a press conference held at Royal Air Maroc's headquarters in Casablanca, Morocco.
“Royal Air Maroc is delighted to announce this new strategic partnership with AEA,” said Mr Zouitene. “Europe is a key market for us and any policy changes have a strong impact on our business. We look forward to working closely with our new colleagues and being kept fully updated on the latest regulatory developments.”

Under this new partnership, Royal Air Maroc will have access to AEA’s expert policy analysis and regular European regulatory updates. “This is a significant development for both organisations because Royal Air Maroc is a bridge between the African continent and Europe,” said Mr Schulte-Strathaus. “Royal Air Maroc has significant European operations and faces many of the same challenges as our core members. We would like to warmly welcome Royal Air Maroc as AEA's newest Strategic Partner.”
