The newly-created Falko aircraft asset manager for its third party aircraft remarketing services has been further enhanced by the award from Royal Air Maroc of an exclusive mandate to arrange the sale of a Bombardier-built Dash 8-Q300 regional turboprop airliner.

The 2001-build aircraft is currently configured with 50 seats and is currently in storage at Maastricht in Holland. The Dash 8 series of aircraft are popular worldwide with some 1,025 built to date of which 266 are the - Q300 version. These versions are in service with 58 operators worldwide and it is anticipated that these existing customers could be interested in this aircraft. Operators of the smaller Dash 8-100 and -200 variants could also be target airlines if they need the extra capacity offered by the -Q300.

Hamish Davidson, Executive Vice President Business Development of Falko said today: The award of this mandate from Royal Air Maroc is further evidence that the airline market at large now ranks Falko as one of the pre-eminent commercial aircraft remarketing organisations. We are excited by the opportunity to work with Royal Air Maroc and also to market the Dash 8 which is a
new aircraft type for us.”

In addition to its core BAe 146/Avro RJ availability, Falko has a further 37 aircraft presently available for sale or lease under third party remarketing mandates.
